Corundum Refractory Castable

The Corundum Refractory Castable is premixed using brown corundum and powder as the base material, with the addition of an appropriate amount of composite additives.

Corundum Refractory Castable boasts a high refractoriness (≥1750℃), protecting the coil from corrosion caused by leaking metal liquids. Additionally, it supports the induction coils, preventing deformation during the use and removal of furnace lining. Especially for furnaces with a top-out mechanism, it serves as a guide and prevents scratching of the coil. After applying clay between the induction coils, it can prevent short circuits or discharges between coil turns, which can generate excessive impact currents and burn out thyristors.

Two main application methods are used for corundum refractory castable: manual troweling and mechanical spraying.
