Principle of Induction Melting
The principle of the medium frequency Induction melting furnace is based on electromagnetic induction heating technology.
When alternating current passes through an induction coil, an alternating magnetic field is generated around it. When this alternating magnetic field acts on a metal workpiece placed within it, eddy currents are generated inside the metal. When eddy current flows inside the metal, a large amount of heat will be generated due to the resistance of the metal itself, thereby heating the metal to a molten state.
Composition
Induction melting Furnace consists of power supply cabinet, steel furnace body, induction coils, furnace cover, cooling system, plc control system, remote control console, furnace leakage alarm, transformer.

Power Supply
The power supply cabinet of induction furnace provides medium-frequency alternating current (AC). It includes components such as a rectifier, filter, inverter, and load-matching network.
Steel-Shell Furnace Body
The furnace body is composed of steel shell body, furnace cover, and induction coils.
We have optimized the structural design of the furnace body, to enhance its strength and operational safety. We improved the connection method for the water-cooled cables.
A support bracket mechanism eliminates the interaction force between the cables and coils during furnace tilting, which extend cable life and ensure stability of induction coils.

Induction Coils
The induction coils are assembled from robust, highly conductive T2 copper tubing, which is wound into shape in a continuous process. Arc-shaped insulating spacers between the turns ensure uniform coil spacing and facilitate moisture dissipation. After induction coils are formed and sandblasted, they are tightly wrapped in insulating material and encapsulated via one-piece casting process. Compared to traditional methods about application of refractory paste, the one-piece casting method offers superior durability and prevents the formation of gaps over long-term use. This way reduces the risk of furnace lining breakout and extends the service life.
Molded thermal insulation boards and composite anti-leakage probes are installed at the top and the bottom. If molten iron penetrates the refractory lining and reach the coils ( or it is about to penetrate) , the system automatically cuts off the power and triggers an alarm. The composite anti-leakage probe is a key component of the overall breakout protection system. It also ensure the molten iron is grounded, thereby ensure operators safety.
Furnace Cover: Cyclone-Type Dust Removing
During the smelting process, the electric furnace produces amounts of smoke and dust, including harmful gases and dust. The dust-collecting furnace cover can effectively extracts harmful gases and dust.

PLC control system
Control System
The control system controls the melting process, incorporating functions such as temperature control, power regulation, and fault diagnosis. The medium-frequency melting furnace uses a PLC control system, enhancing operational convenience and the stability.
Remote Control Console
The remote control console of induction melting furnace is located on the furnace platform, for operators to start, stop, and reset the power supply. The PLC and Human-Machine Interface form a management unit with functions including: automatic furnace drying, cold-start capability, fault diagnosis, fault information display and storage, water system monitoring, operational data display, and system status monitoring.

Cooling System
Water-cooling towers are used to cool the power supply and the furnace body for induction furnace.
Hydraulic station system
The hydraulic pump station is used for driving several key mechanical operations of the induction furnace.
